Used 1 tbsp of dye mix, diluted in 4 cups warm water to create the dye bath.Yarniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14667987523503519404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27234749.post-520417238559255882009-02-28T15:13:00.001-05:002009-02-28T15:13:00.001-05:00This color is just gorgeous, Shelia! This color is just gorgeous, Shelia!Junehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02805043625768796867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27234749.post-30220477999439324642009-02-19T10:46:00.000-05:002009-02-19T10:46:00.000-05:00Hi, Merna. Actually, I gifted my collection of fiber reactive dyes to a quilting artist who dyes all his own cotton quilting fabrics.<BR/>For me, the acid dyes used in blends give a clearer, cleaner color in the end. I know, I know that some folks will use fiber reactive dyes for both cellulose and protein fibers, but I do not agree with this choice. Some say, 'Why go to the expense of buying both types of dye?' The answer to me is obvious: the results!Yarniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14667987523503519404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27234749.post-64046729717739371062009-02-19T10:40:00.000-05:002009-02-19T10:40:00.000-05:00Acid or Fiber Reactive -- what kind of dyes do you...Acid or Fiber Reactive -- what kind of dyes do you use on this blend, Sheila?Mernahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01394194088532001457noreply@blogger.com
