Expert knitter and Virginia-born Ann McCauley has just filmed an episode for Knitty Gritty. The episode is called 'Delightful Details' and will first air on February 16th on HGTV at 11:00 Eastern time. Ann's knitting is truly beautiful -- full of cables and ribs in delicate yarns, many of them natural colors, too. Her book, The Pleasures of Knitting: Timeless Feminine Sweaters, features beautiful sweaters that I imagine in the Blue Faced Leicester yarns. She signed a copy for me two years ago when she visited the Bedford VA shop, Yarn Theory, for a book signing.
